Are there any specific services for hybrid or electrical vehicles?
Car Cleaning & detailing services are the same for all types of vehicles except when it comes to the engine compartment. And since car detailing does not normally include the engine or the engine bay unless requested by the customer, therefore there is no need for a specialized service targeting hybrid or electrical vehicles. Any service from a simple interior clean all the way to full or presale detail can be performed on a hybrid or electrical vehicle without any issues or problems.
What are swirl marks? And can they be removed or eliminated?
Swirl marks are very thin lines and scratches that appear on the surface of your paint. They are generally created by the normal washing procedure. There are some preventive measures to reduce the risk of getting swirl marks like using clean equipment and wash pads during the cleaning process, and the use of the 2-bucket method. Swirl marks cannot be completely eliminated and every car has them in different numbers. Good shining paint has a minimum number of swirl marks and lines compared to a dull paint. To reduce swirl marks you need a multi-stage paint correction procedure.
What are paint sealants? And Doe’s Hot Ride use them?
Any protectant that we use on our paint to shield it from the elements is called paint sealant. As the name indicates, paint sealants seal the paint from the exterior world. Paint sealants can range from a simple wax all the way to ceramic coating or graphene coating. Normal waxes can last up to 2 weeks on a car, ceramic sealants can last up to 6 months, while professional grade ceramic coating can last 10 or 15 years. Every car detailed by Hot Ride will be coated by a premium quality ceramic sealant providing your car with protection for the next 6 months. Ceramic coating is a separate service and Hot Ride provides it as well.
Can leased vehicles be detailed by your services before being returned?
Of course. Leased vehicles are no different from any other vehicle we detail. They are covered by all the services that we provide. As a matter of fact, we get quite a lot of work from leased vehicles before they are returned to their companies. Most customers choose the Presale Detail option as it covers the whole car in & out in addition to a light machine buff, giving the paint a glossy finish and restoring its shine before returning the vehicle to the leasing company.
Do you clean and sanitize child car seats?
At Hot Ride we do not have child seat cleaning as a separate service, however all the cars that we detail will get a complimentary child seat cleaning and sanitizing for every child seat that is fitted inside the vehicle. Some customers choose to dismantle the child seats prior to detailing the vehicle, which is something we normally recommend for easier access and cleaning of all parts of the interior. However, even if the car seat is removed, we still clean it as part of the detailing if it was requested by the customer.
